Our curriculum is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), with a strong focus on each child’s personal, social and emotional development, physical development, and communication and language. We recognise that every child develops at their own pace, and we tailor learning experiences to meet individual needs, interests and next steps. Alongside these key areas, children are supported to develop their knowledge and skills in Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts and Design. We provide a wide range of engaging experiences that allow children to learn through exploration, discovery and hands-on activities. Our teaching is centred around a play-based curriculum, where children’s interests and ideas help shape their learning. Child-initiated play is supported by carefully planned adult-led activities, allowing staff to extend children's learning, introduce new experiences and support their individual next steps. This combination provides a balanced and holistic approach to learning and development. We believe that strong partnerships with parents and carers are essential.
